Milagro’s tertulia art+conversation series features events designed to bring artists and audiences closer together in an intimate setting. These events celebrate multi-disciplinary Latino talent of our region by spotlighting both emerging and established artists and their unique talents. Each event is different and tailored to the specific artist. Tickets for Tertulia Art+Conversation events are typically Free or Pay-What-You-Wish, however space is limited, and reservations are required. Light refreshments will be provided at most events.

The term tertulia is used to describe groups of people who regularly meet informally to chat about topics such as current affairs and the arts, and it is also used to refer to the gathering itself. In early 20th-century Spain, tertulias literarias were much in vogue, and critics and writers would meet to discuss the literary issues of the day in places such as the famous Café Gijón.
