Aline Chercover (she/her), better known as Barrio Girlz, is a queer, Portland-based Colombian illustrator, graphic designer, and multi-media artist whose work is driven by culture, identity, and femininity. Rooted in playfulness and joy, her creative practice embraces bold storytelling, vibrant energy, and community-centered expression. Her project is a launch/exhibition event for Discoteka, her self-published and self-directed magazine centered around queer women of color in the underground electronic music scene.
